Finding What You Are Meant To Do

For years, I felt stuck—overwhelmed by chasing multiple things, constantly seeking advice, and second-guessing myself because what God called me to didn’t match what the world called “success.”

I believed I was waiting on God when I was actually ignoring what He had already made clear. And that kind of delay? It's not harmless—it's disobedience in disguise.

We live in a world that celebrates strategy and hustle. But sometimes, God is just waiting for our surrender. I had to realize this:

God doesn’t need your hustle. He needs your alignment.

I exhausted myself trying to create stability outside of the 9-to-5 life through various business pursuits, only because it seemed like a viable solution to my problems. I followed connections, not convictions. I made moves, but I still felt lost.

Then, on my birthday—May 12—at midnight, something profound happened. God whispered to me, “Stop second-guessing what I already told you.” That was the pivotal moment—the shift I desperately needed. I realized it wasn't about the industry I was in; it was about my obedience to what I had been called to do. Since that moment, I’ve been striving to nurture clarity and peace in my life. Here are the key practices that have been helping me:

Here’s what has been helping me find clarity and peace lately:

  • Seek God Continually – Daily devotion and intimate time in the Word

  • Eliminate Distractions – Cut out what disrupts your internal peace

  • Pray for Alignment – Don’t just pray for answers; pray for God's will to override your own

  • Reflect – Journal the recurring patterns, confirmations, and nudges from God

  • Prioritize – Focus only on what advances your life and purpose wisely

  • Trust the Slow Build – God’s pace is often different from our preferences

  • Stop Overthinking – Don’t wait for perfection. Take the step in front of you

Stillness is sacred.

Most of us treat rest like a reward, but it’s actually a requirement for clarity. The more I tried to “do,” the more I drowned out what God was trying to show me.

You can’t hear divine instruction over worldly noise.

So I’ve been learning to unplug, to breathe, to write, to worship—not as luxuries, but as lifelines. These habits are where my realignment begins.

This week, I encourage you to carve out 30 minutes of silence.

Ask yourself:
What has God already confirmed to me that I’ve been afraid to fully walk in?

Write the answer.
Then write your next obedient step.
Not your five-year plan. Just your next.

“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.”

Proverbs 16:9

Faith-Focused Closing Message

Friend, your calling was never supposed to look like the world’s path.

You were never meant to blend in.
You were called to build for the Kingdom.
Don’t let delay be the reason you miss the life God has already prepared.

When you walk in obedience, even when it doesn’t make sense to anyone else…
Remember: you weren’t built for “normal.”
You were created for impact.

Let’s get back to why you were called in the first place.
